At the Harvard University Science and Engineering Complex in Boston, Massachusetts (USA), two of our durable Duraflon® colours were used: a radiant Duraflon® Bright Silver and Duraflon® RAL Design 140 20 05, a deep black-greenish tone.
The building sets new standards in sustainability and energy efficiency. For this reason, it received the highest award of LEED Platinum from the US Green Building Council.
The innovative structure of hydroformed stainless steel elements on the façade is striking. It refers to the position of the sun and is designed to protect the interior from the sun in the warmer months, while directing the sun into the building in winter.
